Trumpet instructors

Samantha De Bie picked up the trumpet at the age of 9 and is now finishing her degree in Trumpet Performance. She fell in love with the instrument because it was beautiful, had the best parts in band music, was extremely versatile, and not many females played it. She wanted to show everyone that girls could play trumpet too. She has since gone on to play in the top concert, jazz and orchestral programs that Azusa Pacific University has to offer. She has also held leading roles in touring groups and performs annually in the Christmas Fantasy parade at Disneyland. In addition she has had the opportunity to teach online trumpet lessons for a long term students through excellent programs such as the Azusa Conservatory and the Cazadero Music Camp. She hopes to spread her talents and passions to the next generation of aspiring musicians.
