Anna Lee – B.A.
Miss Anna Lee completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music, major in violin performance at Dankook University, Korea. She played full time at Seoul Symphony Orchestra, the leading professional orchestra in Korea before coming to the USA. She has given many recitals as a soloist and as chamber musician in Korea and the U.S..
Anna speaks fluent English and Korean.
Lina Van – B.M.
Lina holds a Bachelor of Music degree in violin performance at the California State University Long Beach. She has joined the California State Universiy Symphony Orchestra, VAP Orchestra and Montage Civic Orchestra. Lina is an ABRSM teacher. On top of teaching, she is also a freelance violinist for musicals, operas, live concerts, and studio recording.
Jim Cheng – M.M.
Jim Cheng is passionate about teaching and loves to share his violin playing with young students. He graduated from LACHSA and continue his degree in violin performance in Mannes school of music (BM) and the University of Maryland (MM). He studied with many great teachers individually as well as in Master classes.
Angela Liu – B.M.
Born in Taiwan, violist Angela Liu graduated from Soochow university of Taiwan and Tainan woman’s college of art. After graduation, she was admitted to National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan, NSO. Having twenty three years of experience performing on stage with NSO, Angela played with many world-renowned musicians for a variety of styles of music and world performance tours to Asia and Europe. She is active in viola solo and chamber music performance. Currently, Ms. Liu resides in Southern California, and she is member of MTAC/NFMC.
Mia Chen – B.M., MTAC member
Mia Yang-Yu Chen, Violist born in Taiwan. She has played viola since age of eight and won various competitions ever since. In 2011, she got bachelor degree from Taipei Municipal University of Education, major in viola. After graduating from college she got into Taipei Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia Moments Musicaux Orchestra as a violist. She has studied the viola with several significant violist, such as Yi-Wen Chao and Chen Hung Ho.
