We have a wide selection of woodwinds & brasses instruments. Selection of an instrument is very important. Remember that we are all different physically (chin, lips, strength, tongue, jaw, lung capacity, etc.) and have different personalities, different artistic goals, different teachers and different instruments. What works for one player may not work for another and what comes with difficulty to one person may come to another with ease. The idea is to keep listening, asking, experimenting until you find what is right for you, in other words, take what you like and leave the rest because in the long run, there is no one way and we have to find our own way. You should feel perfectly entitled to reject advice from even a good teacher/player after giving it a good try, if it does not fit or makes no sense to you.
